Anyone who has ever called Oobi HQ has probably spoken to the lovely Miss Natalie. She's the one who gives us oldies good feedback on what the kids are wearing nowadays (and plays around with our iPhones and keeps us up to date).
Here are some comments from Nat about working for Oobi (for many, many years...).
- What's your all-time favourite Oobi garment? Hmm this is a tough one, I think I will always love the bloomers the best. I will never forget when we first started designing them, we used so many different fabrics and combinations and a few people said they were too "out there". We stuck it out though and decided to go ahead with them, needless to say they were a big hit!.
- My favourite part of the year is when we receive the images from our photographer from the photo shoots. It's so exciting to see all the clothing that has been worked so hard on, finally on the super cute models. I can hardly wait for the images to arrive, I harass both Alex and the photographer for them. (I can vouch for that, Al)
- Over the time that I have been with Oobi® I have had a lot of funny moments.... One that comes to mind only happened on the weekend. I find that every child that walks past me I check out to see if they are wearing Oobi®, I always think that parents must wonder what I am doing. I feel I may have taken this a little far whilst driving and turning at a roundabout on the weekend, I happened to spot a child on the side of the road wearing a pink Darcy skirt. Not concentrating on driving but at how cute the child looked I slightly mounted the roundabout and went over the top of it. I have learnt my lesson now, pay attention to the road!
Nat is picking her favourite Oobi Baby from the Facebook Fans page - keep on posting your pics for a chance to win!
Keep up the great work, Natalie! I am sure you are a valuable member of the Oobi team!!
