Anyone who has ever called Oobi HQ has probably spoken to the lovely Miss Natalie. She's the one who gives us oldies good feedback on what the kids are wearing nowadays (and plays around with our iPhones and keeps us up to date).
Here are some comments from Nat about working for Oobi (for many, many years...).
Nat is picking her favourite Oobi Baby from the Facebook Fans page - keep on posting your pics for a chance to win!
Today we were hanging out in the office and Nat shouted out "I just saw a goat outside!" Then she paused and said, "no, I couldn't have...". Suffice it to say we all ran outside and saw, well, a man walking two goats, in the middle of busy Elisabeth St!
The goats were amazing, completely tame and trained. We all patted them and they were even traffic savvy.
Wild!
First meeting... everyone's a little timid.
Sigh, another photo?! Where's my brother?
Mmmm, that tree looks delicious!
It didn't feel right to exclude Toast the Oobi Dog. Toast comes in to the office every day and is under everyone's feet, especially at lunch time. He is occasionally to be found stealing someone's shoes or even stealing a taggy toy and making it his.
He's very much part of the Oobi team! You can see him wearing his name-tag and high-vision coat during our last trade show setup. Very sensible.
And why is there a picture of a lamb? Well, our friend Chris named his lamb Toast after our Toast - Toasty the Lamb. Awww.
Franzi is our Big Oobi who hails from Germany. She loves the outdoors and camping and chocolate (godbless!).
Franzi works with Ben in the warehouse (you'll meet Ben soon) and also helps out at our sales, does the photographs for our look-books, keeps us entertained with her Ger-lish (German/English) and is always, always late on Monday morning!
Franzi says:
My all-time favourite Ooobi piece is definitely the new British Tweed Jacket, also the Navy Military Jacket is pretty cool, too. Both have this urban chic to it. You can't be dressed wrong with them.
I think my favourite part of the daily routine is the tea time. It's a welcoming break, a time for a little chit chat and a taste of Bek's famous baking creations. I love your chocolate brownies, Bek!
My favourite season with Oobi is the winter. Coming from central Europe I always like the fashion of winter more. It gives you so many opportunities, to layer and accessorise. I just love it and so does Oobi.
I got my nice in-law (Ava, then 2 years) for X-mas a little Oobi outfit. She saw it and loved it! Problem was she got earlier a little fairy dress from her nan and was wearing it. Very cute, got her the center of attention, but when she got the Oobi Apple Tennis Skirt with matching tee, hat and socks she stripped down in front of everybody and refused to wear anything else the whole day. I felt a bit guilty, because her nan bought her the fairy dress as something special. But then she added the fairy wings as a personal touch, what made everybody laugh. It was so cute.
We love these pics... They are all wonderful for such different reasons!

We were so blown away by Paula's gorgeous photos on our Facebook Page Facebook - Oobi Baby&Kids that we contacted her for some background info, here's what she had to say...
I went to the beach to photograph the sunset and, from the carpark, I saw this gorgeous girl running around in a beautiful pink skirt. I made a beeline towards her and was happy to stand and watch her, she was just delightful in her layered tulle skirt. I started a conversation with her parents and they were happy to let me take some photos of her.
The series of photos taken that night are now some of my personal favourites and I have entered a few of the photographs into a photographic competition, of which I am an Australian finalist (competition is currently in the voting stage, so please wish me luck!).
I'm not sure how much information you are requiring for your blog, but I have a small amount of information that I list on my website and my Redbubble page:
My name is Paula McManus and when I am not in the office doing my day job, I am an amateur photographer, based in Adelaide South Australia.
I have always had a love of and a fascination for photography but didn’t get serious about it until a year ago.
I love taking photos, especially of people and nature. I try to capture that ‘something’ that I see – the emotion, the personality, the colours – photography is an art all its own and with each shot there is the randomness, the wonderful surprise of capturing the moment.
Beaches, rural areas, close ups, jetties, pelicans, sunsets, flowers, people – these are all favourites. A favourite phrase of mine is “It’s not what you look at that matters…..... it’s what you see”
We thought these were just amazing! Thanks Paula for sharing your story, it's amazing (and how incredible that the little girl was wearing the Darcy Skirt on the beach!).Love,

The amazing girls at Cosmopolitan Pregnancy Magazine asked Oobi to donate some product for children's orphanages in Romania and Turkey. We were honoured to be asked to help out and were proud to be a part of their charity drive.
Yey Cosmo!! One of our fave mags for a reason. It's fantastic that they are supporting children in need.
