Whew! It's over... we're just packing up as we speak, waiting for pallets and cartons and drills to be delivered to our stand so we can go back home to Sydney. Can't wait to sleep in my own bed and not have to wear heels for a while - hooray for casual in the office is all I can say!
What an amazing week, we did full showings and saw all our customers, got great feedback, "oohed and ahhed" over some beautiful babies (you busy mums with babies and stores) and saw all our great friends like the lovely girls from Palas Jewellery (my fave), Flat Out, Kikca, Gem and more who were exhibiting too. It's great to catch up with other designers and wholesalers and "talk shop". There are some incredible women out there doing some brilliant work and I have to say that the childrenswear and accessories get better every year - it's a really booming industry.
We showed our new Summer 2008/2009 range and the response was phenomenal so look out for it in stores around the end of September. Everything was really well received especially the new reversible pieces and we've also got some amazing new fabrics designed for this new range so that you can mix-and-match to your heart's content.
